“From Nature” is the title of the upcoming summer exhibition at Thomas Deans Fine Art featuring paintings, sculpture, and photography by Atlanta artists Helen DeRamus and Mona Waterhouse, Tennessee photographer Don Dudenbostel, and Santa Fe enamel artist Zingaro. The exhibition is curated by Melanie Witt.

Mona Waterhouse's sensuous and tactile work in handmade paper, pigment, and wax in two and three dimensions takes its inspiration from seeds and pods. Helen DeRamus' work reflects her passion for color, architectonic and organic forms, and texture. Don Dudenbostel's X-ray photographs of nature forms employ very low -level X-rays that do not totally penetrate the soft, delicate structure of the plants, but reveals their beauty of form to the viewer. Zingaro’s collages in vitreous enamel on copper [fusing glass to copper] employ flower and foliage forms in vibrant color.

The exhibition at Thomas Deans Fine Art opens on Saturday, June 7, with an all-day open house, 11:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. and through July 26.
