Keeley Halswelle
1832-1891

Born in Richmond, Surrey, to Scottish parents, the genre and landscape painter Keeley Halswelle first worked as an illustrator for the Illustrated London News and for an Edinburgh publisher. He exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy and was elected an Associate of the academy in 1866
