Evelyn Williams

Described by the London critic John McEwan as “among the most poetic and humanly tender of contemporary artists,” Evelyn Williams has been a working artist since attending the historic St. Martin’s School of Art at the age of fourteen and, later, the Royal College of Art. Her themes and images are deeply rooted in her own experience as a woman, and she possesses the extraordinary ability to convey with deep emotion “the widest aspects of human behavior which lie beyond words.”
