Edward Vuillamy

The son of French parents, Vuillamy was educated at Cambridge University, reading classics and modern languages, and eventually becoming a language lecturer at the university. he served in both World Wars and was honorary Keeper of Pictures at the Fitzwilliam Museum, at the university. He exhibited extensively at the New English Art Club, The Fine Art Society, Walker's Galleries, andthe Chenil and Cooling galleries.
