Tim Fitts

Atlantascapes is Tim Fitts' newest body of work, exploring the constant change that embodies Atlanta.

The son of an Atlanta native, Tim Fitts sees Atlanta as his first love and a major influence in his youth. As a young man he lived in Decatur and has continued his involvement in the Atlanta arts. He later studied creative writing at the University of Maryland. As a photographer, he held his first solo exhibitions at art museums and universities in Seoul and Suwon, South Korea. His images have appeared on the cover of the New England Review and American Literary Review, and his short stories have appeared in the Cimarron Review, PRISM International, Faultline, and others. Tim Fitts currently lives in Philadelphia, where he teaches at Temple University and the University of the Arts. Having previously exhibited with other Atlanta galleries, he happily returns to Atlanta with a new and unique body of work created in the spring and summer of 2007 and celebrating the city that will always be “home.”
